The Arbutar is a small 5-string bass instrument constructed from arbutus wood from British Columbia. Gut harp strings are used to create the unique sonics of this instrument. The Arbutar includes a comfort bevel on the bass side of the lower bout and a side sound port. Various pickups are installed internally on the bridge plate.
